A 12-session intensive workshop where participants — particularly people of color and underrepresented voices — transformed personal experiences into original theatrical pieces. Drawing on the organization’s own production methodology, the workshop culminated in a live performance showcase. Built on the premise that everyone has a story worth telling, and that the skills to tell it can be learned.

This workshop series will use the Lucky Chaos methodology to guide the participants to trust in the validity of their own experiences and/or point of view and go to that raw place in a safe and supportive environment to create an authentic and unique theatrical piece (monologues are not encouraged!).

Don’t tell the audience how it felt, present it in a way that the audience feel what you felt.

People of color and other underrepresented groups strongly encouraged to participate.

Tell the world YOUR story! Come participate in this new 12-session workshop series using methodology from many Lucky Chaos Theater Projects original productions where we create original theatrical works that are poignant, funny and authentic drawing from our own life experiences. Starts next Wed 2/4 at 7.30pm!

PEOPLE OF COLOR and/or from UNDERPRESENTED VOICES are highly encouraged to signup.
