We want our stories told. We want a place to do it. This is the place.
We want our stories told. We want a place to do it. This is the place.
We make original work by and about Asian Americans, people of color, and communities living with mental health conditions — work written, directed, and performed by the people whose stories are being told. And we keep the door open, consistently, so those communities always have somewhere to go.
What we worked on

Mental Health & Destigmatization
Comedy, theater, and open mic as entry points into conversations that are rarely had in public.

Asian American & BIPOC Representation
Original work written, directed, and performed by the communities whose stories are being told. On stage and in the audience.

Community Voice & Lived Experience
Every project began with a personal story. We created the conditions for those stories to reach a stage and an audience.
Both sides of the stage
We didn’t only make work. We sustained the spaces that made the work possible — for the artists on stage and the community in the room.
Groundwork
A recurring space for diverse artists to develop work in progress. No pressure. Just the work.
Leave it at the Mic
A monthly open mic for people living with mental health conditions. A safe space, sustained consistently, because the need never went away.
Lucky Chaos Crowd
A monthly gathering spotlighting local diverse artists and restaurants. Showing up, together, as an act of community.
Audiences stayed after. Sometimes long after. That’s how we knew the work was doing what it was meant to do.
How this work is made
When we tell someone’s story, they are in the room where it’s made. As director, writer, or performer — at least two of the three, every time. This is not a guideline. It is how we work.
