It’s back! After the sold out and popular runs of 30 Dates in 60 Minutes (2013), 30 Loves in 60 Minutes (2014), and 30 Trips in 60 Minutes (2015) we are thrilled to bring you mini-plays about the subject and the word “HERO.”

Join us for another 60 minutes of high-energy, fast-paced fun with moments of reflection and poignancy.

Heroes – big or small, epic or everyday, human or not. What is a hero? Is it the everyday hero, who helps in small ways that grow bigger over time? The unsung hero, who toils unseen to make our lives better? Or is it the epic hero, whose great feats inspire us from across history, across the world, or across the room? Does a hero have to be human? Do heroes know they are heroes? Why do we need heroes? Do we need heroes?

A diverse ensemble cast of performers, under the direction of Lucky Chaos Artistic Director, Leng Wong, have collaboratively created these plays, drawing on their own personal experiences. The ensemble will attempt to perform all 30 plays in 60 minutes. The audience will determine which play they will perform by calling out a number from 1-30. We will set a timer at the beginning to keep us honest!

Written and Performed by The Ensemble:
Kim Li Carlson, Maddy Dimayuga, Hollis Lapree Edwards III, Abhinav Kumar, Dorthi Tate and Norman Tran
