January 4, 10, 11 (Saturday, Friday, Saturday), 8pm at Salvage Vanguard Theater
Think the Droste effect. Think Inception the movie. Think layers.
All brought together and executed via the improv format The Harold, it’s going to be a wild ride!
This improvised theatrical piece will coincide with the exhibit of Steve Rogers Photography at same venue. Each night, the improvisation performers receive a surprise selection of photographs chosen by Steve Rogers from his vast portfolio and by audience members chosen from the exhibit. These photos will serve as inspiration to kickoff the show.
Oh, did we mention Steve Rogers will be on hand to take photographs of the show as it progresses AND will feed these photos back to the improvisers to inspire more improvised scenes? Photos inspiring improv inspiring new photos inspiring more improv…
With years of photography ranging from live events around the world to live events in Austin and more, Steve Rogers Photography will exhibit at the Salvage Vanguard Theater gallery for the month of January 2014. The opening night of the show will coincide with the opening night of the exhibit, so stay for the Opening Night Party after the show!
